In the past year I have tried a wide variety of new things. October 2024 I attempted VR oil painting, I did an art show, I had an article published in a nationally distributed magazine and I submitted a short story to nationally circulated science finiction and fantasy magazine. Now, I did not get that story published but that is all right.
I also started using ChatGPT intentionally as an accessibility tool. It has helped me figure out a lot of things, helped me organize my thoght and has even helped me with some games. I have also spent a good amount of time poking and prodding at the models. Sure, I’m not a fan of how much power they are using but avoiding them isn’t going to make them go away so I may as well get some use out of them.
Let’s be clear, no, anything that I make with AI I do not display as art. It helps me organize my thought, proposes alternative that I mostly don’t use and helps me keep some things straight, often because it gets confused.
Either way, I decided to create this new website to sharewith peoplesome of the things I have been doing and have one place to put it all in. There are too many sites, Facebook, Bluesky, XTwitter, Flickr, YouTube and I get tired of having to go to all of them to share what I’m doing, so here I am.
