What’s Next in 2026

I am not one for the “let’s look back” kind of posts. There are plenty who do that, but well, the past is something we lived through, it happened, and I am ready to move on.

I will say, it has been a rough year. Yes, I started some new things and have had to deal with a lot of problems not of my own making.

One good thing that happened just happened last night, December 29. My short story Blanket for the Soul won 3rd in a local writing contest. That cool. I will send the story out to get it published in some other places too, because I like the story and why not.

I stopped making New Year’s Resolutions a long time ago because I never did remember them long enough to keep them. I do set goals, however. They are soft. If I forget one, fine, if I meet one, great. If I exceed them, even better.

I was to finally compose a song and I’m well on my way for that. I want to paint a lot more paintings. I want to keep writing on my longer stories and even my autobiography. Basically, I want to keep doing what I’m doing.

Of course, I also want to keep helping with Virtual Ability and the yearly conferences too and I really do want to do more of my Disability Discussion Seminars in Second Life and that’s something I really need to get to work on shortly.

Well, keep watching!
